Upcoming workshops!
Every month I will be offering workshops out of my studio in Avondale Estates, Ga.
Most will require some previous basic knowledge of metalsmithing/jewelry making, but I will also be offering a number of beginner/no experience necessary workshops. My studio space is small, so I have a max of 4 people per class, (minimum of 2). If you aren't sure if a workshop is for you, send me a message!
All workshops are 17 and up.
Unless stated otherwise, prices include supplies and material costs. We will be working with brass, bronze, copper, or sterling silver.

Moving parts workshop
Bugs and Rivets (2 day)
making insect pins and broaches with cold joining techniques to create moveable wings. Intermediate. (supply cost included)

Ring workshop
Stacking Rings
No experience necessary. Learn to use a torch, files, hammer and mandrels, to make silver and bronze stacking rings. (supply cost included)

Sandcasting Workshop
Sandcasting. learn to cast with sand. (students will need to provide their own scrap silver for casting). Beginner.

Bezeled Rings Workshop
Adding a stone to your ring
Learn how to bezel set a stone onto a simple silver band.

Halloween Workshops: Planchettes!
Make a planchette pendant!
Because halloween is basically around the corner, lets make some planchettes. (for those not inclined toward the dark arts, a planchette is the little heart-shaped doodad that you use with a spirit board, so summon up the spirits.- it also makes a super cute necklace!) This workshop will involve, sawing, piercing and soldering, so some experience is required.
$175 (+$25 supply fee)
